bio: Botan's past is unknown although she helps koenma. She is koenma's messenger girl and she is called the "grim reaper" because it suits her job. She brings people to the spirit world. When Yusuke died, Botan was supposedly supposed to bring him to the spirit world, and even yusuke was surprised at the name "grim reaper". In any case, Botan helps yusuke through his ordeal (when he got a chance for a second life) and once yusuke is revived as a spirit detective, botan becomes his assistant. After that happens, Botan becomes real... (not like koenma when he changes his appearence) and she gets new clothes to match the time period. She still relays news from koenma and gives yusuke various items to help him along with the missions.
