Hitomi on the other hand, uses her tarot cards and visions to interpret what will eventually happen to Fanelia as a result of this war against Folken.The Vision of Escaflowne is a wonderful story that explores the truth of fate and destiny, dreams, betrayal, and true love.Escaflowne is very well animated for it's time and scenes change from dark to light depending on the mood. The mood gets help from the lovely background music and songs. All the characters are very strong and have individual personalities making some of them symbolic to certain virtues of life.The Vision of Escaflowne is a thought-provoking story that attracts females with shojo animation and males with the mechas and is highly recommended.
